suggestions that will help you get top market value for your home.
•
Keep house neat and clean for all showings
•
Remove clutter so your home looks inviting and spacious
•
Store excess furniture
•
Your yard, front and back, should be well manicured

Remove all litter and debris from your property
•
Flowers at the front entrance are a welcoming touch
•
Make sure the front door and entry are in great condition-consider painting
or scrubbing the front door if necessary
•
Scrape and paint any loose or peeling exterior paint
•
The doorbell should be in proper working order

Don't smoke in the house throughout the listing period-you could eliminate
potential buyers

Be absent for showings and open houses-buyers will feel more relaxed
•
Make arrangements for your pets during showings

Keep personal photos to a minimum
•
Make sure there are no unusual odors: keep litter boxes spotless, the

Cancel a showing appointment only if it is absolutely necessary

Clear everything off of the counter top, stove and the front of the refrigerator

Do a general, overall fix up: tighten loose door knobs, free up stuck
windows, stop the leaky faucet, etc...
•
Cleaning the windows is very important to the overall look of your home

If the carpet is in bad shape either have it cleaned or replaced
